Noise in My Head is a two hour freeform sonic excursion that broadcasts every Sunday 10pm-midnight on Melbourne community radio station 3RRR 102.7FM. The show is a commitment to potent baked goods that you’d otherwise never hear on the airwaves. Hosted by Michael Kucyk, NIMH regularly features mixes and interviews from various Australian and international artists, producers, DJs, label heads, compilation selectors and record collectors of unknown and well-respected renown.
About Michael Kucyk
Michael Kucyk is the many named, bearded wanderer of the scene, with countless projects unfurling in the musical realm. Having released fine cuts in the fields of garage and psychedelia on his Nervous Jerk label, he often appears in the club DJing as Nervous Jack. An avid writer and fan of independent publications, Michael also scribes about his musical obsessions for Mountain Fold, WON, The Blackmail and Sleeper. Since founding Noise In My Head in 2005, Michael takes listeners on a weekly mind expander, traversing new territory combinations from psych and new age; industrial and EBM; italo and deep house.
