10/09/14 w/ Andy Blake

Blowing smokestacks with two hours of amplifier fire, the second seeing the welcome return of Andy Blake. Andy is a ruler around these parts – the man behind the World Unknown and Dissident labels that have given some of London’s finest, from Ali Renault to Apiento, Timothy J Fairplay and Black Merlin, a platform to release their throbbing electronics. He’s also an invincible DJ and party starter, running the near legendary World Unknown club night with Joe Hart. Here he contributes ‘Napalm Psychosis’, a bunch of early 70s psych 7″s with a loose Vietnam war feel and a general madness lingering in the air. It’s a bit of a departure from his usual mixes but hey, there’s nothing usual about Andy Blake. Our Japanese friends can catch his Tokyo debut at ReviveHER @ Origami Entertainment this Friday 12 September.
